Odeh Books Terms of Service
Effective 26 September 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Odeh Books mobile application, related software, and supported services (collectively, the Service). Please read them before using the Service. They are the same Terms shown inside the app.
Use of this website itself is covered by the website terms of use.
1.Agreement and service provider
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” includes that organisation.
The Service is provided by Odeh Technologies FZ-LLC, located at Compass Building, Al Hamra Industrial Zone - FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Legal notices and questions may be sent to bacil@odehtechnologies.com.
2.Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and must provide accurate, current account and business information. Keep account credentials, devices, recovery methods, and invited team-member access secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for promptly removing access for people who no longer need it.
3.What the Service does
The Service provides software tools that may capture and process receipts, invoices, bills, revenue records, inventory information, customer and supplier records, employee and payroll-related information, bank-account information, uploaded documents, imports, reports, journals, VAT-related calculations, forecasts, and other business data. Features may use optical character recognition, rules, artificial intelligence, automated workflows, and third-party integrations. Available features, plan limits, and supported integrations may change.
4.Software tool; no professional relationship
The Service is an information-management and software-automation tool. It is not a substitute for independent professional judgement. Use of the Service does not make Odeh Technologies FZ-LLC, its personnel, or its suppliers your accountant, auditor, tax adviser, financial adviser, attorney, fiduciary, employee, agent, bank, payment service provider, or regulated financial institution.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving records, accounting treatment, classifications, journal entries, tax and VAT positions, reconciliations, reports, filings, payments, deadlines, and decisions before relying on or submitting them to any authority, bank, counterparty, auditor, or other third party. Obtain advice from appropriately qualified professionals where needed.
5.AI, OCR, automation, and calculation limitations
AI, OCR, imports, rules, forecasts, and automated outputs can be incomplete, unavailable, delayed, duplicated, misread, incorrectly classified, or otherwise inaccurate. They may not reflect changes in law, regulation, tax/VAT rules, accounting standards, source documents, integrations, or your business circumstances. The Service may suggest, create, or transform information, but it does not independently verify facts or guarantee a particular accounting, tax, financial, legal, or business outcome. Do not treat any output as final without your own review.
AI features send information to third-party AI providers only after you give permission in the app, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can change that permission in Settings › AI Data Sharing.
6.Your data and permissions
You retain your rights in the data, documents, images, records, and other content you submit to the Service (Your Content). You grant us the limited rights needed to host, copy, process, transmit, format, analyse, and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide the Service as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all permissions, notices, consents, and other lawful authority required to upload and process Your Content, including information about employees, customers, suppliers, and other individuals. Do not upload content that is unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, confidential without authority, or harmful.
7.Team workspaces and delegated access
Workspace owners and authorised administrators may invite, manage, or remove users and may be able to access workspace records. You are responsible for assigning appropriate permissions and for your team’s compliance with these Terms. If you access a workspace on another person’s behalf, you must follow that workspace owner’s instructions and applicable law.
8.Third-party services
Identity services, App Store services, cloud infrastructure, workflow providers, and accounting-platform integrations are supplied by independent third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, security, data practices, accuracy, or changes. You must review and approve any connection before enabling it and may disconnect it through the available controls.
9.Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, reverse engineer except where mandatory law permits it, bypass plan limits or access controls, upload malware, use the Service to commit fraud or violate law, infringe another person’s rights, or use outputs to make decisions where independent review is required. We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.
10.Ownership
The Service, its software, design, branding, documentation, and non-user content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended business purposes. No other rights are granted.
11.Subscriptions, trials, renewals, and refunds
Some features require a paid plan. Current plan descriptions, limits, pricing, and any free trial offer, including its length, are displayed in the app and the applicable App Store purchase flow. A trial is available only when presented to you and may be limited by eligibility, account, region, or Apple’s rules. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of a free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.
Purchases, cancellation, billing, and refund requests processed through Apple are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and refund policies. We do not promise refunds except where required by applicable law. You remain responsible for applicable taxes and charges.
12.Service changes, availability, and backups
We may modify, maintain, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, limits, or parts of the Service, including to address security, law, technical constraints, or product changes. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid material unnecessary disruption, but do not guarantee continuous, error-free, or loss-free operation. You should maintain independent, current backups and records appropriate to your business and legal obligations.
13.Suspension, termination, and your data
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, non-payment, security risk, or where reasonably required by law. Before ending your account, export records you need. Following termination, Your Content will be handled under the Privacy Policy and any applicable retention obligations; we may be unable to restore deleted data.
14.Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, security, or that the Service will meet your requirements. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither we nor our suppliers will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, tax penalties, fines, or business interruption arising from or related to the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
16.Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you will indemnify and hold us, our affiliates, personnel, and suppliers harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your unlawful use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your failure to obtain necessary permissions.
17.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, law, or our practices change. We will post the updated version in the app and on this page, and update its date. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the Service or by another reasonable method. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, subject to any rights you may have under mandatory law.
18.Governing law and disputes
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates applicable in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The courts of Ras Al Khaimah will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a matter elsewhere. These Terms do not remove or limit mandatory consumer-protection, data-protection, or other rights that apply to you.
19.Contact
For questions about these Terms or to send a legal notice, contact bacil@odehtechnologies.com or write to Odeh Technologies FZ-LLC, Compass Building, Al Hamra Industrial Zone - FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
